R.H. Bowman

R.H. Bowman ran a general store in Valley Grove, from some point in the 1890s to 1902 (Mercantile Agency, Sep. 1899, Sep. 1902). It is possible that he opened the store in 1896, as there was a deed transfer to him that year for 17 acres of land along the Little Wheeling Creek in Valley Grove (“Real Estate,” 1896).
