L.P. Jones, M.D. & J.P. Jones, M.D.
Information needed.
Though he does not appear in directories, L.P. Jones at least appears in newspaper articles (with the prefix Dr.). One in 1923 notes he was elected president of the Wild Life League of West Virginia (“News Cullings,” 1923). Not much information is available about him, or his partner, other than this. There does exist an embossed bottle from the pair, meaning they likely practiced for at least some time in the 1910s.
Sigler’s Pharmacy — Bertram R. Sigler
1912—19??
I believe this company was owned by Bertram R. Sigler, who is listed as a druggist in Pennsboro since 1912 (Mercantile Agency, Sep. 1912). Before this, he ran a general store (Mercantile Agency, Sep. 1911). This particular bottle certainly outdates this period, likely being dated to the 1930s.
