Frank Kuehne

1901—1913

Frank Kuehne began bottling in 1901, as he does not appear in the September 1900 Dun & Bradstreet, but does appear in the following year’s editions. This was Frank Kuehne Senior. By 1916, Frank Kuehne begins bottling with his son, hence the change in name to Frank Kuehne & Son, which is reflected in the Dun & Bradstreet listings.

The span above reflects the time period that they could have bottled alcohol, beginning with their bottling business and ending in prohibition. Kuehne continued bottling soda past prohibition for quite awhile, with his family remaining in the business for generations (see Sistersville Sodas page).
